I have just completed the first phase of my nutrition ‘education’ with Katherine and it has been eye-opening. I have learnt so much about what I am eating and what I should be eating. She’s passionate and authentic in what she does, teaching me what to eat, not telling me!

Katherine is an inspiring example of how to take control of your life – coming to nutrition from her own challenges. She is practical with her advice, taking time to understand me and my life. She has helped me fit my food choices and changes into running a busy business.

I recommend her highly and look forward to our on-going work.

SPEECH 3

I met Katherine in December last year, at a time that I was in complete despair with my physical appearance, relationship with food and complete exhaustion. I was tired all of the time and addicted to caffeine and sugar. I felt completely overwhelmed at the task in hand – to lose ten stone.

From the first conversation I had with Katherine, I felt completely at ease. We hit it off. Katherine is very easy to talk to, understanding and encouraging. I felt supported, comfortable and took the next step to meeting her to design a bespoke plan just for me.

The plan is easy to follow, contains realistic and achievable goals and is entirely focused on my needs and lifestyle. I have now been on plan for just over a month; I have lost 12 pounds, I am no longer addicted to caffeine, sugar and refined carbohydrates and have been wheat and caffeine free since 7 January. I feel so much better. I walk 10000 steps a day and regularly attend the gym. My relationship with food has changed – I take the time to plan my nutrition which is nourishing, healthy and vibrant food. I look forward to shopping day.

I have committed to work with Katherine throughout 2015 and look forward to our catch ups. What has been particularly useful is feeling that she is approachable at times of temptation – a simple call or text and words of encouragement is often what I need. She is helping me to slowly rebuild my self-esteem and belief in myself. I couldn’t recommend her more. Go for it!

Katherine has been my personal trainer since the beginning of January this year. The concept of engaging a personal trainer was seen by me as a bit of a luxury but over the years I have tried joining various gyms to improve my fitness but every time this has ended in me giving up without seeing any results. Katherine provided me with the motivation, discipline and reassurances that I know I need to achieve a higher level of fitness. The weekly sessions are fun and enjoyable!!  So far we have had around 8 sessions and I feel a lot fitter already and am more mindful that exercising is a good thing. Katherine is firm and will push you to achieve your potentials – she doesn’t give up. As I find it difficult to fit in exercise in between classes she has sent me some quick 10-15 minute sets to do – these I can slot into a busy weekly schedule. I am beginning to enjoy keeping fit after many years of dreading the pain and sweat.

I have worked with Katherine for around 6 months and have found her to be professional, methodical and technically sound. Her persona is super positive and she always has my best interests at the core of everything we do. The results have been steady and I have noticed very positive improvements with body tone, flexibility and general well being.  Be warned though … if you want results you have to be willing to work hard and Katherine will certainly put you through your paces in order to achieve the goals you desire!!!
